ROLE (High-level):

Your ROLE (Logistics):

Who Reports to You: Director of Scheduling

Where You Work: Washington, DC

Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000

Your Role (Responsibilities):

  • Develop construction CPM schedules for construction projects
  • Ability to read design drawings and extract pertinent information for the development of CPM baseline schedules
  • Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones
  • Identify project delays and assist a team in developing detailed time impact analysis using industry standard methodologies.
  • Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
  • Track and be involved in project issues as they relate to project schedules
  • Walk the field, check the weekly and monthly schedule progress, and provide reports to the project and upper management
  • Develop comprehensive schedule update narratives with applicable exhibits and attachments
  • Effectively communicate with the regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule-related meetings
  • Prepare reports as needed and directed by management

What We NEED You to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Construction Scheduling. Note: any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Desire to achieve a Project and Scheduling Professional (PSP)certification and/or a Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) certification.
  •  Proficiency with Primavera (P6) as well as other CPM Scheduling Software
