ROLE (High Level):
McKissack & McKissack is seeking an Infrastructure Construction Inspector to join the Washington, DC office. The candidate will perform daily inspection of construction projects monitoring quality and adherence to contract documents, construction drawings and project specifications. Adhere to strict safety standards, prepare inspection reports, and provide written documentation of observations and testing of materials. Communicate findings to engineer or project manager.
Your ROLE (Logistics):
Reporting To: VP of Infrastructure
Where You Work: Onsite
Salary range: $35/hour to $55/hr based on experience
What We NEED You to Have:
Engineer with a minimum of three (3) years of bridge/highway construction experience.
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certified as a Transportation Engineering Technician Construction, Level II or higher, with a minimum of five (5) years of bridge/highway construction experience.
Be certified through a combination of the following agencies with a minimum of ten (10) years full-time experience as a construction engineer or inspector on bridge/highway construction projects
