Full Position Description

Your ROLE (Logistics):

Reporting To: Senior Interior Designer, Senior Architect,& Project Manager

Who Reports to You: N/A

Where You Work: Washington, DC (Onsite)

Your Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

 

Your Role (Responsibilities):

  • Meeting with clients to identify goals and requirements for the space to be designed.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors and other experts to achieve the budgetary, functional and aesthetic needs of the space.
  • Analyzing how people operate and move in the space, as well as patterns of use.
  • Conceptualizing design plans and preparing sketches or other visual aids to present designs to the client.
  • Creating look & feel boards or presentations to help clients visualize your design.
  • Consulting with the client to choose materials, furnishings and color palettes that will help fulfill the requirements and vision of the space.
  • Using Revit and other design applications to create the final drawings and packages to be shared with stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the project timeline, costs and preparation of accurate estimates to clients.
  • Ordering or obtaining design materials (furnishings, finishes, etc.), as needed, to meet the project and budget specifications.
  • Overseeing the installation of design elements.
  • Reviewing the project site after final installation to ensure that it meets the original requirements and vision.
  •  In collaboration with the project manager or project lead, address any client complaints or concerns and work with the project manager to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Staying up-to-date about current design trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in the interior design field.
  • Performing additional related duties as needed.
  • Following building codes, guidelines and regulations; and looking for guidance and advice as needed.

What We NEED You to Have:

·        3-6 years relevant experience

·        Experience with workplace, corporate commercial and/or amenities is a must.
