McKissack & McKissack assisted DC Water in constructing a new biosolids facility to help lower biosolids quantities and provide renewable electricity.
Repair and rehabilitation of sanitary sewers minimized or eliminated wastewater overflows from 5,400 miles of sewers in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland to meet the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission’s (WSSC) Consent Decree. WSSC selected a program management team that included McKissack to manage all consultant and contractor activities, develop contract documents and specifications for 21 basins, and assist the WSSC program managers in completing the comprehensive wastewater improvement project on schedule and on budget.
