McKissack, under a joint venture partnership, is serving as the program manager, implementing the Baltimore City 21st Century School Buildings Program.
As part of Partners for Revitalization of Baltimore City Schools (City School Partners), McKissack provides the following services: overall program management; educational programming and planning support; program master schedule development and management; project, logistics, and construction management; project schedule management; budget development, cost estimating, and value management; procurement and contract management; project controls management; establishment of program and state agency process and procedures; project building information management/facilities management and implementation; implementation of an owner-controlled insurance program; health and safety management; and community revitalization and real estate services.
The 21st Century Building Plan includes renovation and/or replacement of 25 educational facilities over a 2-year period.
