Over my 40-year career, I have had the opportunity be part of a variety of successful and meaningful projects, from museums to sports complexes to schools. However, working on the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture was a true honor and cultural learning experience with numerous unique construction challenges that we had creatively solve.

Charles Yetter

Deputy Vice President, DC PMCM
Charles Yetter is a seasoned construction professional with over 46 years of experience. He currently serves as the Deputy Vice President at McKissack & McKissack, where he has been working since 2010, initially as a Senior Project Manager. His extensive career includes significant roles at Tishman Speyer, Trammell Crow Company, and Turner Construction Company, among others. Mr. Yetter’s expertise spans a wide range of projects, from large class “A” complex developments to high-end interior tenant work and complex highway and infrastructure projects. He has a strong ability to analyze projects and solve problems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. His notable projects include the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Education’s New Schools Modernization Initiative, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Obama Presidential Center. He holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in Construction Management from Pennsylvania State University and is a Registered Engineer-in-Training in Pennsylvania. Mr. Yetter has been recognized for his achievements with awards such as the Architecture Engineering Hall of Fame from Pennsylvania State University and has been a speaker at the CMAA National Convention.
