Carmelo Torrisi has over three decades of experience leading teams and business units across various sectors. At AtkinsRéalis, formerly Faithful+Gould, he held several leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy, where he led the North American Sales team. As the Director of Operations for North America, he managed a portfolio exceeding $175M, overseeing more than 600 employees to achieve financial, operational, and performance goals. Torrisi also served as the Utility Sector Lead, collaborating with major companies like Exelon, Arizona Public Service, and Duke Energy. His leadership saw the successful completion of projects such as the Milwaukee Federal Building Renovation and the installation of a solar plant in Roswell, New Mexico. Torrisi’s extensive background includes leadership positions at S&C Electric Company, AECOM, Jacobs, and Fluor, spanning design, engineering, construction, quality, business development, and project management. Torrisi is set to drive McKissack & McKissack's growth as its new President, bringing his vast experience and dynamic leadership to the company’s operations. With plans to extend the company’s reach in the Southwest and other regions, Torrisi aims to leverage McKissack & McKissack’s robust PMCM expertise across sectors such as aviation, higher education, utilities, and landmarks. He will build on the firm’s significant achievements and target high-impact community projects, including transportation, power and water facilities, and schools. Beyond his professional accolades, Torrisi’s collaborative approach and dedication to fostering a positive work culture align with McKissack & McKissack’s values. An Army Reserve veteran and active community volunteer, Torrisi holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and several industry certifications, including PMP and LEED AP. Living in Chicago with his wife and four daughters, Torrisi remains deeply connected to his community, contributing to various initiatives and currently serving as Chairman of the Construction Committee for Habitat for Humanity Chicago.
